What is Ruck
The daily rugby knowledge game
Ruck is a daily rugby trivia game for everyone who loves the sport, whether you have followed it for thirty years or you are just learning the game. Five questions a day. Five minutes. A streak that compounds the more you play.
Questions run from rookie to legend, so you are met wherever you start. Pick up the basics, then climb. Every round contributes XP to your level, your global rank, and your country's weekly league. Play casually for the streak, seriously for the leaderboard, or head-to-head against a mate to settle who really knows their stuff.
This is for the diehard who can name the 2007 starting XV and the newcomer who watched their first match last weekend and wanted in. As rugby pulls in new fans ahead of its biggest stage yet, Ruck is where you learn the game, test it, and prove it.
Daily Test

Ruck does not run interstitial ads, rewarded video, or sponsored question content that compromises the leaderboard. If we ever monetise, it will be through a subscription that adds to the experience, not friction that gates it.

When does the closed beta open? +
We are working through the final content and store-submission steps now. Waitlist members get notified as soon as TestFlight and Play Internal invites are ready.
Is Ruck free? +
Yes. Daily Test, Quick Match, Topic Rounds, Live Quiz, Country Leagues, and Head to Head duels are all free at launch. We will introduce an optional Ruck Pro subscription later, which never gates core gameplay.
Will there be ads? +
No interstitial ads, ever. No rewarded video. No banners. Sponsored events may exist in future, but they will never affect the ranked leaderboard or matchmaking.
Why "Ruck"? +
A ruck is a rugby contest for the ball after a tackle. It is rugby's defining moment, and it is the daily contest we want fans to show up for.
How is this different from GORUCK? +
GORUCK is a fitness brand with weighted backpacks. We are a rugby trivia app. Different sport, different audience.
